  Apo Whang Od Why is Culture important in our life?      Culture is the foundation of traditions and practices in our life. It details our experience, upbringing in life and our Identity as a member of the community. Whereas being a member of a community, we are a part of the bigger society. The large and diverse society of different cultures and practices. And in the village of Buscalan in the Kalinga Province, Philippines lies an example of a great culture that is being passed down for generations. The master tattooist Apo Whang Od Oggay, a living treasure of Philippine culture and the Philippines’ oldest tattoo artist continues to pass on and practice the tradition. Ako si Lourenzo Gabrielle O. Manimtim at ngayong taon na ito ako ay isang bagong transferee para sa Sienna College of Taytay (SCT) Para sa taong 2020-2021. Ako ay nagmula sa Colegio de San Clemente (CDSC) sa Angono, Rizal at doon ay nag-aral ako mula ika-7 baitang hanggang sa aking ika-10 baitang o ika-4 na taon sa junior highschool. Katulad ng SCT ang CDSC ay isa ring katolikong paaralan kung saan dito hinuhubog at pinanalalalim ang aming pagkamalapit at pananampalataya sa diyos. Sa buhay ko bilang isang mag-aaral mas nagustuhan ko ang mag-aral sa isang katolikong paaralan. Sapagkat dito sa mga ganitong klaseng iskwelahan ay nalilinang ang aking pagiging madasalin at ang pagiging maka-diyos ng isang tao. Mahalaga saakin ang maging maka-diyos at madasalin.
