PowerPoint Gizz: How familiar are you in using PowerPoint?

Whenever we are going to present something in our school or in a business presentation. PowerPoint has become one of the most important tools in presenting our thoughts and ideas to many people. Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation is a presentation software created by Microsoft and is one of the most important Microsoft Software. My ratings in my ability to use and utilize PowerPoint is 8. There are many reasons why my PowerPoint familiarity rating is high.

I can do these things in PowerPoint:

Action Buttons and Hyperlinks. Whenever I will create a PowerPoint Presentation, I always keep in mind to make any of my presentations fun and engaging. I use Action Buttons and Hyperlinks to enable myself to shift in one place to another whenever I will be presenting. For example, If I want to make a quiz like presentation, I use action buttons and hyperlinks to shift slides like when you get a correct answer if I click the specified action link on an object it will go to the set destination to a slide showing the answer is correct. The same method applies when you click the wrong answer as well. Action Buttons and Hyperlinks is a very good tool to use to make your presentation more engaging.

Media and Sounds. Did you know that you can also put Videos and Sounds in doing your PowerPoint? Well, I believe that you are probably aware that you can use Videos and Sounds in PowerPoint. Using Videos and Sounds in PowerPoint can enhance and compliment your whole presentation. Your audience might become very bored with you talking all along throughout the whole presentation. Well lucky for you! If you will use videos and sounds in MS PowerPoint it can pique the interest of your audience and keep their attention to your presentation. In an article, Compliance Prime Team (2020) stated that adding a music piece in the presentation helps the ppt to be attractive as well as interesting. Any presentation needs to be easily understood by the audience who is watching it. Adding audio in a presentation will help to spice up the presentation. Media and Sounds are a great option in improving and making your PowerPoint presentation better.

Cool Slide Transitions. I use the morph transition to make similar objects from two separate slides hover and move to a specific place I wanted. I use these whenever I want to make a clean transition of objects between slides. It is a cool transition that you can use when you want objects from different to move and hover. You can try and experiment with this cool transition! It is super smooth and very clean. Try it out!

Slide Zoom. Guys! This is too damn cool! By using slide sections using the slide zoom feature enables you to click on your desired slide while presenting and proceed with a zooming effect. It is good to use in presenting separate topics like by chapters. It is a cool way to organize your presentation it makes your slides organized and engaging. The Slide Zoom feature is cool! Because it lets to be creative and helps you to navigate your slides better. Rather than sticking to a one-way presentation use the Slide Zoom feature for a better and action-taking presentation.

Engaging Animations. In doing PowerPoint presentation I use animations depending on what topic and what theme I am going to be presenting. I mostly maintain my animations minimal when I am doing educational presentations like presenting in a classroom. And I when my PowerPoint is a creative version, I let myself to be free and use animations as much as I like. I do these kinds of animations if I will be presenting in active audience like programs and seminars. I do Speakership PowerPoints and Demonstration PowerPoints. The golden rule of PowerPoint animations Is use it in the proper way. You cannot add to much or add to little. Add animations in accordance what your presentation needs.

Techniques. I use a lot of techniques, but I will only be telling you a few. In images I like them to minimal which means I only post the image that contains the strongest message it can be at most to 1 or 2 images. In doing the design, I always keep in mind of the balance, contrast, and harmony of the presentation. Remember the goal of a PowerPoint presentation is to make your audience engaged and interested. A good and smooth design that is fit for your theme and target audience is very essential for a successful PowerPoint presentation. Lastly, use the appropriate text size, font and colour. Always make sure that the words in your presentation are readable and fit to the theme of your presentation also use the colour wisely don’t use dark when your background is dark, vice versa. Everyone is unique and there are a lot of techniques that you can apply in doing your PowerPoint presentations.

I am experienced in using PowerPoint and I am confident that I can make a PowerPoint presentation that is lively, creative, and engaging. I rate myself as 8 because as life goes on nothing is absolute, I believe that I can still learn a lot of things in the future that I can use for my PowerPoint Presentations.

Have fun doing PowerPoint Presentations!

It is not a very big surprise to see usual the political situation of the Philippines, shown in the media are the rampant cases of corruption, incompetence of leaders, violence, and greed.   Most politicians operate by their own interests, primarily the traditional politicians, the large and corrupt big political families that rule the power and government in our country. And many of these families are fat dynasties, with their greed of power and wealth they leech and drain the country of its resources. But aside from the fat dynasties, there also other ordinary politicians that use their power for their own interests.
