"Ang gurang kong inutil" Why Filipinos must be educated?

Education is not a luxury it is a right and responsibility. Education and knowledge is what drives forward the innovation and improvement of a society. Through education people improve and through education it learns the mistakes of the pasts that should be prevented and not repeated. The reason why Filipinos are unaware and negligent of the issues of the past is probably because of the bad culture of taking things for granted for the sake of comfort and leisure. The Filipino society is built upon a culture that is influenced by colonizers, the biggest part of it will be the Spanish Empire. The Filipino society in the past was less educated and few can attend schools and access proper education except for elites such as Jose Rizal. Because of this Filipinos in blood through generations have become used to problems and issues and sees it as a normal thing. And it is visible up to the current times, where corruption seems like a normal thing for Filipinos, we become tricked by false promises, primarily because we always desire for a change whereas Filipinos always desire and yearn for a hero, a messiah if I will be blunt.

We cannot blame why Filipinos have little awareness of issues and problems and become negligent of the bad matters. It is a culture, a bad culture that is built upon and cursed within the soul of the society, the whole Filipino society. Even there are no real heroes and real saints that will cleanse and save the Philippines. Filipinos can still hope. We always find comfort and desire for leisure finding the shortcuts just for the sake of escaping the wretched distorted society, as termed by some netizens, the Philippines.

But how can remove this bad culture of forgetfulness, negligence, and ignorance of truth? It's a simple answer but a hard practice, EDUCATION! Education is the, learning the true history, disciple and good moral values will what improve the current state of the country. Up to this current point of, many Filipinos aren't still properly educated and as it goes with Filipinos we are naive and tend to believe in promises and propaganda.

Philippines has a lot of problems, so many problems that we can't solve and the bad is we will just make it worse.

As a responsible citizen, you must know and learn the reality of the situation. Be EDUCATED! As education is the treasure one can never be stolen away. And if you are educated you will have less problems even in this most stressful and baddest of situations in life. With education you can learn and starting with you, you will not repeat the problems and mistakes of the past.

Be in peace! And Blessed Be God Forever!

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE FILIPINO DEMOCRACY | By: Lourenzo Manimtim

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE FILIPINO DEMOCRACY   By: Lourenzo Manimtim The state of the nation depends on states of citizens, and a nation is governed by leaders and the leaders are elected by the citizens. It is not a very big surprise to see usual the political situation of the Philippines, shown in the media are the rampant cases of corruption, incompetence of leaders, violence, and greed.   Most politicians operate by their own interests, primarily the traditional politicians, the large and corrupt big political families that rule the power and government in our country. And many of these families are fat dynasties, with their greed of power and wealth they leech and drain the country of its resources. But aside from the fat dynasties, there also other ordinary politicians that use their power for their own interests. But amidst the current situation we cannot take for granted that there are also good politicians that loyally serves and loves their country and the society.   But if
