The pearl of the Oriental Seas, the treasure of the Southeast, the Philippines the archipelago nation of 7,107 islands, is a land of richness and diverse culture. With the seas upon its boundaries, and beaches on the reefs, and the cities in the streets. The Philippines is certainly the best country my dear Dayos will enjoy and experience that Pinoy feeling. It is a socially conservative country yet a globalize nation at best. In its core culture, the center is of love and family. Additionally, the Philippines is the land where one of the happiest people, the Filipinos, live and thrives. In this feature article you’ll read the top 3 things why #itsmorefuninthephilippines.

The Philippines has a very rich culture. From the simplest of days to the grandest of life. The Philippines is a very culturally diverse nation from its islands of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. The cultures are unique with one another, encompassing from many ethnic groups in the country and foreign influences around the world. Some examples of amazing Filipino culture are the Philippine Festivals, like the Ati-atihan Festival in Aklan, the Higantes Festival in Angono, Rizal, and the Singkaban Festival in Bulacan. Other rich forms of Filipino culture and expression come from music, art, dance and language.

Filipinos are the best, #PinoyPride and #TatakPinoy. When you are browsing in social media like Twitter or in Facebook you may have come up and read the phrase “#PinoyPride” or “Heyyy… where ya’ Filipinos at!”. The Filipinos are known to be very nationalistic and patriotic people. They are Makabayan, they love their country, and they possess pride in their values, beliefs, and morals. But what makes Filipinos the best is their respectful, kind, and honorable attitude. So! If you’ll travel to the Philippines and meet a Filipino Ka-Dayo! expect to be loved and treated with great respect.

The Philippines is a family. I have already said this that the essence of Filipino culture revolves and in the core values of Family. Filipino families tend to stay together, which unlike its western counterpart, that separates at some point in future. The Filipino family goes beyond its relationship by blood. The term family in the Philippines can also refer to a community or group of people that is established in relationships that is founded in love and community. That is why my dear Dayo! If you’ll ever go and travel to the Philippines, you won’t ever feel alone or homesick nationwide! Because Filipinos in Luzon, Visayas and in Mindanao, will make you feel the utmost hospitality and love of the Filipino family!

The Philippines has so many things to offer and enjoy! That is why if you are a foreigner, a traveler or a tourist wanting to travel in the Philippines.
